Attachment Repair Therapy
Using the Ideal Parent Figure Protocol to heal early relational wounds and cultivate a secure sense of self.
Understanding Attachment
Attachment theory, first developed by John Bowlby, explains how our earliest relationships with caregivers shape our emotional patterns, sense of self, and how we connect with others throughout our lives. When early attachment experiences were disrupted, neglectful, or unsafe, we may develop "insecure attachment" styles that show up in our adult relationships — through anxiety, avoidance, difficulty trusting, or fear of abandonment.
The good news is that our attachment systems remain neurologically plastic throughout life. With the right therapeutic approach, deep and lasting healing is possible.
The Ideal Parent Figure Protocol
The Ideal Parent Figure (IPF) Protocol, developed by Dr. Daniel Brown and David Elliott, is a powerful, evidence-based method for healing insecure attachment at its roots. IPF goes beyond analyzing past experiences. It uses guided imagery to help you access and internalize the felt experience of being securely held, seen, and supported, something that may not have been available to you in childhood.
Over time, this builds new neural pathways associated with safety, self-worth, and secure relating — transforming not just how you feel, but who you are in relationship to yourself and others.
