What I Treat

Depression Therapy

Reconnecting with meaning, motivation, and a sense of possibility, one step at a time.

What Depression Really Feels Like

Depression is more than feeling sad. It can make everything feel heavy and effortful: getting out of bed, connecting with people you love, finding interest in things that once brought joy. It can bring a deep sense of emptiness, hopelessness, or the feeling that something is fundamentally wrong with you.

Depression is not a character flaw or weakness. It is a real, complex experience that has roots in your neurobiology, history, environment, and relationships — and it is very treatable with the right support.

My Approach to Depression

I work with clients experiencing depression with warmth, patience, and a genuine belief in their capacity to heal and grow. I meet you where you are, and together we explore what's underneath the depression while building practical tools for daily support.

My approach draws on Internal Family Systems to understand the inner landscape of depression, Mindful Self-Compassion to soften the self-criticism that so often accompanies it, and somatic practices to help your body begin to thaw from the freeze of depression.

Depression often co-occurs with anxiety. I take a comprehensive view of each person's experience.

You Don't Have to Feel This Way Forever
