What I Treat

Stress & Burnout

Identifying the roots of chronic stress and restoring a sustainable sense of balance, ease, and vitality.

When Stress Becomes Chronic

Some stress is a normal part of life. Chronic stress is different. When your nervous system stays in a constant state of activation, when you never feel fully rested, when demands consistently outpace your resources, it takes a serious toll on your physical health, mental health, and relationships.

Burnout is the end state of chronic, unresolved stress. It often looks like emotional exhaustion, cynicism, a sense of ineffectiveness, and a profound disconnection from what once gave your life meaning.

Signs of Chronic Stress & Burnout

Feeling overwhelmed and unable to switch off
Exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix
Irritability and emotional reactivity
Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
Physical symptoms: headaches, tension, illness
Disconnection from purpose or meaning
Neglecting relationships or self-care
Cynicism and loss of motivation

A Path Out of Burnout

Recovery from burnout and chronic stress is not just about doing less. It's about understanding the beliefs, patterns, and internal drivers that keep you chronically over-extended, then making real, sustainable change at multiple levels.

I use Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Polyvagal practices, and IFS to address stress at the level of the nervous system, the mind, and the parts of you that are working so hard. The aim is a life that feels both sustainable and meaningful.

Stress management work draws from Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Life Transitions support.

Reclaim Your Balance
